Couldn't be solemn

I was standing outside the abortuary the other day, holding a sign — and this day there was a mom there with four little children, must have been ages five and under.

She was holding the littlest two and a sign (I don’t know how moms balance things like that, but they do) — but what caught my eye were the older two, a brother and a sister. They were entertaining themselves by chasing each other around and around and around the stroller, and then around the other way, laughing and enjoying each others’ company, with their little hats and coats on.

I couldn’t wear a solemn face — I beamed at the cars passing by that day. I had seen the goodness of the Lord displayed in that place!
